E’ tornato Travis con quattro escursioni tra R&B, UKG e drum & bass e as usual i risultati sono straordinari. Al suo fianco in questo EP troviamo il maestro dell’alt pop KUČKA, l’artista giapponese rei brown, residente a New York; e la cantautrice pop/elettronica LIZ.
“Collaboration is a big part of my process these days, and it’s no different on this EP,” Travis adds. “I had a blast working with KUČKA, LIZ and rei brown on these songs. They each brought their own unique individual characters to the songs and I’m really proud of what we created together!”
L’artwork dell’EP è di tutto rispetto, firmato da Joe Durnan dal mitico studio grafico The Designers Republic, lo stesso che ha curato in passato lavori per Aphex Twin e Autechre. Si può già gustare il singolo “Violet” che è un vero banger realizzato a colpi di 808 distorti… ma tutto l’EP è annunciato come un trionfo di UKG nello stile di Machinedrum.
