Il duo inglese ormai ha un decennio di musica alle spalle, durante la pandemia non si sono persi d’animo e hanno realizzato “Energy”, il loro terzo album, mentre questa estate quelle 5 tracce in digitale nel solo giro di una settimana. Ora per non farsi mancare nulla arriva questo Dj Kicks che i fratelli Lawrence onorano rispettando la loro vena house, ritmo che dopo un intro ambient diventa subito incalzante e poco adatto a rimanere fermi.
“Most of the mix is presenting what you can do with house,” says Guy. “And that’s basically our career: trying to move house forward, whether it’s with songwriting or using different genres or different languages. The mix should represent where we’re at now; and where we’re at now is clubby.”
