Robert Glasper in un video di Jazz Night In America per NPR costruisce un ponte tra jazz e hip hop con tre campioni e i riferimenti tra i generi. Il risultato sono tre minuti dove il pianista porta l’attenzione su tre tracce di nomi sacri come Hancock e Jamal per collegarli a quelli di Nas, Slum Village e De La Soul… una fantastica lezione.
